The Grand Parade Kick Off!

CAMA Woodlands is proud to announce that we will be participating in our third annual Grand Parade Fundraiser! Our Grand Parade will be happening right here at CAMA Woodlands on September 17th. Our goal for this year is to raise $30,000 which will go towards purchasing our own wheelchair accessible bus that we can use to get our residents where they need to be. So far, we are over halfway towards raising enough money to make this purchase and with your help we will be even closer to our goal.

To make our Grand Parade possible we have partnered with the Blue Sea Foundation who help make this all possible. The Grand Parade is a family friendly fundraiser team walk that helps support local charities who provide essential care and service for aging Canadians. On the day of our event, we will have a 2.5km walk that you and your team will participate in followed by some fun activities, raffles, and a free lunch! The goal of the event is to create a team, get everyone you know to sign up and join, and raise as much money as possible which will directly benefit the residents of our home.

We will be having our kickoff event right here at CAMA Woodlands on Wednesday May 18th and you are all invited to attend. At our kickoff event we will have information on how you can register to participate, volunteer opportunities, how to donate money, and more general information about the event if you are interested.
